Meet Coach Kayla
Kayla Jones is a USA Weightlifting National Coach & competitive strength athlete based just north of Seattle at Paramount Barbell Club. She works with athletes of all experience levels to develop strength, technical mastery, & confidence in the Olympic lifts.
As the sole female National Level Olympic Weightlifting coach in Washington, Kayla continues to master the art of coaching the snatch, clean & jerk, and general barbell strength training — helping athletes build efficient movement patterns & long-term progress. Her coaching style supports beginners learning the lifts for the first time, competitive weightlifters preparing for competition, and specializing in female & masters athletes looking to stay strong through the years.
At Paramount Barbell Club, Kayla works closely with athletes to improve barbell technique, develop strength through structured programming, and prepare for competition when desired.
Her approach blends technical coaching, strength development, and individualized programming, allowing athletes to continue progressing through every stage of their weightlifting journey.
She prioritizes gratitude, resilience, & a growth mindset for all her athletes.
